Language Arts:

*No more spelling tests!
We will be practicing words from list 30 and 31 in the last 2 weeks at school but there will be no spelling test.

  • Discovering about small flying and crawling animals - insects/caterpillars
  • Caterpillars are about 2 weeks old - they are hanging upside down in a J position.  They will start to shed their skin and make a chrysalis.  They are 2 inches long and very hairy.

2M Update:

We had a cool/rainy day at the zoo but still had a great time!  Thank you to all our parent volunteers! Some pictures below.

  • Measuring using nonstandard unite. ie/ straws, cubes and paperclips

Religion:  The Road To Emmaus (which took place after Jesus died and rose from the dead) reading

Science:  Temperature Wars Activity: Describing temperature using terms such as hotter than, colder 
than.

Social: Looking at Meteghan - resources and jobs
Gym: Jumping Unit - jumping and landing patterns
